Gen7 Engine IDE has now its first open beta version for Linux platforms released today. Not only it’s possible to play with your creations on Linux like it has been possible since a while, but now you can create also your projects directly on your favorite platform.
That project of porting Gen7’s IDE started 3 years ago, but halted because of priorities in development. However it still was important to do, as many users in the community are Linux-only users ( https://github.com/iyenal/Gen7EngineBugReporting/issues/16 ).
Special instructions can be found in the folder to assist with the setup required.
